An Upcoming Event Saturday at North Ponds Park for Children with Special Needs
This Saturday, January 22nd, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at North Ponds Park, a special winter event will be held for children with special needs and their families.
Children under the age of 18 will have the opportunity to be a passenger on a snowmobile and enjoy the thrill of a ride around North Ponds Park. Other activities will include making snowmen, snow shoeing, and even making ice cream. Hot coco and snacks will also be available.
All snowmobiles are registered and insured, plus they are two-person sleds. Any Webster residents with a two-person sled who wishes to volunteer for this upcoming event this Saturday can contact Deputy Commissioner of Parks and Recreation Jane Laskey at 872-7103, or email her at email@example.com
Further information is available on the town’s web page www.ci.webster.ny.us.
Special thanks go to Mr. Rob Bick from the town of Clay, New York, for bringing this event to Webster.
Please Note: This is a special event and that snowmobiles are prohibited at North Ponds Park.
