Terms of the auction are cash or local personal checks only.
Power Outage in the Klem Road Drumm Road Area
The Klem and Drumm Road areas over the past year have seen a lot of power outages from RG&E from a transmission line which has not been working properly and needs to be replaced. Over the next few weeks RG&E will be replacing about 20 poles in that area to get ready to replace the transmission line. They are hoping to fix the problem to the satisfaction of the residents in that area as soon as possible.
No, the Town of Webster Does NOT do Brush Pick-Up in the Spring
I get phone calls in the spring asking when the Town of Webster will be picking up leaves and tree limbs that where left over from the fall or damaged from the winter. The short answer is the Town of Webster does not have a spring clean up any longer. Years ago, when the cost exceeded $200,000 a year to do this on top of the $300,000 to do leaf collection, the town stopped doing a spring clean to cut costs.
In a town agreement with local waste haulers, they have agreed to pick up bundles of small twigs and sticks if they are tied and bundled as part of the regular waste collection. You can also have up to ten plastic bags of yard material each at no extra cost to you.
So instead of just putting this material to the curb in hopes of the town picking it up, please leave it out the day your waste hauler does your garbage pick-up. If you run into problems with your waste hauler not honoring this, please give my office a call and I will look into for you.
As always, if you have any questions about your town government, please feel free to contact me during regular business hours at (585) 872-7068; or email me anytime at email@example.com
