The hugely successful Waterfront Art Festival that took place for the first time last year around North Ponds Park is returning again on July 30th and 31st! There will be around 140 artists surrounding North Ponds Park on the walking trail along with some food vendors for you to sample if you get hungry.
There will also be beer and wine tasting going on in the tents stationed along the walking path. There isn’t any parking at North Ponds that weekend so your best choice is to drive to Xerox for free parking and pick up a shuttle bus back to North Ponds for your days enjoyment.
Grand Opening of Pet Savers
Last week I attended the Grand Opening of Pet Savers located in the Webster Plaza. It is a well designed and great addition to the other business in Webster Plaza. Since the Library parking has moved to the rear of the plaza there is plenty of parking in front now to visit your favorite business in the plaza.
Pet Savers has many unique aspects to their business, and if you have animals I’m sure you will find everything you need!
Webster Firemen’s Parade and Carnival
The Webster Firemen’s parade is scheduled this year on Thursday, July 14th at 6:30 p.m. The parade route begins at Phillips Road and goes down Main Street to the Firemen’s Field. As long as I can remember this is a great time for the Webster community as we celebrate our First Responders and the great things they do for our community.
The Firemen’s carnival will be running from Wednesday night July 13th right on through to Saturday night midnight when the fireworks will take place. Please take the time to enjoy and be safe during this year’s Firemen’s parade and carnival.
