The Webster Highway employees are working on the weekends to keep up with the demand of the sand bags needed on Lake Ontario and Irondequoit Bay. Over 30,000 bags have been filled thus far, and Highway Department will continue this process until the water recedes.
You can drive to the Highway Department, located at 1005 Picture Parkway, and fill up your vehicle as you need sand bags. We are all hoping this terrible high water mark ends soon for our lake and bay residents.
Summer Celebration is coming on Saturday, June 24th

Town Hall Renovations are Moving Along
Asbestos removal in the Town Hall building has been completed and now construction workers are continuing on with some demolition in some parts of the building. Work has also been started in the lower part of the building on the remodeling of the Webster Police Department.
At this time, there are two trailers that the Police Officers are utilizing in the rear of the building, and the Civilian Employees department have been moved to the new Town Board room with me and my assistant. We estimate that they should be returning to their renovated offices at the Town Hall building within three months but until that time, any reports, finger prints, or other non-emergency paper work will be taken care of in the Van Ingen Court Building that houses the new Town Board meeting room (the building with the blue roof).
Drug Collection Unit at Town Hall is CLOSED
The CVS Drug Collection unit at the Webster Town Hall will NOT be available until the Town Hall renovations are complete. We will keep everyone informed as to when this will reopen, and when the next Pharmaceutical Waste pickup is scheduled later this year.
