On Saturday, October 28, 2017 the Town of Webster hosted a pharmaceutical waste pickup at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. There were 233 residents who participated and 710 pounds of unused, unwanted or expired medication was collected for disposal.
Thank you to all of the residents who participated and a big thank you to the employees of the Sewer Department and the Webster Police Department for coordinating and maintaining the various collection day duties.
2017 Annual Leaf Pick-Up is On-going
The Town of Webster Highway Department started the annual Leaf Pick-Up on Monday, October 23rd. They are making every effort to pick up leaves on a weekly basis until the week of Monday, December 4th. At that time, a final pass will be conducted throughout the town, starting from the West side to the East side.
This final pass through town may not take a full week and will depend on the amount of leaves needing to be picked up. This will also end the 2017 Fall Leaf Pick-up season. Any leaves collected after that will need to be bagged and left for your trash collector.
If anyone has any questions regarding the annual Leaf Pick-up, please contact the Highway Department at 872-1443, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
As always, if you have any questions about your town government, please feel free to contact me during regular business hours at (585) 872-7068; or email me anytime at email@example.com
