As of April 2, 2018, there has been leaf mulch available at the Webster Town Hall. Every spring the Town of Webster Highway Department delivers tons of mulch to the parking lot at Town Hall so that Webster residents can retrieve leaf mulch for free for home use. For the past year this mulch has been composted by the Highway Department employees from leaves picked up from resident’s yards.
Please remember that no machinery or equipment is allowed to load the mulch. The mulch is free to Town of Webster residents. No contractors or landscapers please. This is 100% leaf mulch. Nothing has been added to the mulch.
The Highway Department will continue to replenish the pile until the tons of mulch are depleted in the upcoming weeks. The mulch will be restocked as needed and only available while supplies last.
The Town of Webster’s annual summer party at the Webster Recreation Building is on Saturday, June 23rd at 4:00 p.m. The fun begins with food trucks, games and inflatables for all to enjoy. Then from 5:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. there will be music to entertain everyone, followed by the finale of the evening which is the best fireworks you have ever seen!
So mark your calendar and plan on bringing your blanket and your family and enjoy an evening of food, fun and friends at the Webster Recreation Center!
The Waterfront Arts Festival
The annual Webster Waterfront Arts Festival will take place this year on Saturday, July 28th and Sunday, July 29th at North Ponds Park. This has been an outstanding event the last three years and we expect it to be as successful this year!
Artists from all over Monroe County will be there for the two days showing off their wares in a beautiful setting around North Ponds Park. There will also be food trucks along with entrainment during the day, along with a wine tasting booth and other outstanding exhibits.
