Rochester Chapter of Citizens Climate to Speak

Posted on August 13, 2018 at 10:19 AM by PattiAnn Schultz

A presentation by Mr. Rob Levine, member of the Rochester Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby, has been scheduled for Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Board Room. All Webster residents are encouraged to attend and learn about reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

This group is a non-profit, non-partisan, organization focused on a market based, revenue neutral solution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Mr. Levine has worked with the City of Rochester, Town of Penfield, Town of Pittsford, Town of Brighton, Town of Henrietta and the Town of Irondequoit, and will be addressing the Webster Town Board seeking our approval to move forward with a town resolution.

The Webster Town Board is looking forward to his presentation and encourages other Webster residents to attend.

On behalf of the Webster Town Board, I extend congratulations to Officer Michael Nicossia!  Officer Nicossia officially graduated from the Monroe County Police Academy on Friday, and is now a full-time Webster Police Officer. After nine months of schooling and three months of field training, Officer Nicossia will now be working a full-time officer and taking his place on one of the shifts within the Webster Police Department. Again, congratulations Officer Nicossia!
