I would like to offer my congratulations to Animal Control Officer Tom Link for winning the Outstanding Employee of the Year for the National Animal Control Association. For the past six years Tom has planned and developed the New York State ACO Conference titled “Everything you ever wanted to know about Animal Control.”
Tom arranges for speakers and all of the events that take place throughout the two day event. One past seminar held a dangerous dog mock trial conducted by a judge, a prosecuting attorney, and a defendant. This may be the only training some DCO’s will receive in preparing for court cases in some towns.
Again, congratulations to Tom for his dedication to service and time committed to this endeavor!
A Big Thank You
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Kristen Wissick, the town’s receptionist, for her outstanding work in coordinating the Town of Webster’s United Way campaign. Kristen is instrumental in arranging many activities for town employees to participate in that raise money for this worth wild program.
If you happen to stop by the receptionist’s desk while currently paying your school taxes, please thank Kristen for her many extra hours of service to the town for this Monroe County event.
Just A Reminder …
This Saturday, September 15th, is a free paper shedding event that will take place at the rear of the Town Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Residents may bring a maximum of three boxes/bags of paper documents to be shredded. Please remove all paperclips (staples may remain).
Should you have any questions about your town government, please feel free to contact me during regular business hours at (585) 872-7068; or email me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org
