Starting the first of the year, the Webster Public Library has resumed Sunday hours from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This service was terminated a year ago because funding was tight and cuts were needed to be made to continue overall operations of the library. The Library Board of Trustees was able to find the needed revenue to reopen on Sundays from personnel changes that have taken place at the library in the past year. This is great news to hear from the Board of Trustees and hopefully this service will continue on in the future if funding levels can be maintained at their current level.
Ice Skating Rink
For the second year in a row the outside temperatures have not been cold enough to maintain the ice at the newly built ice skating rink at the Recreation Center. Hopefully as we go into February, the cold temperatures will return and we will be able to have the ice freeze and open the ice skating rink to Webster residents who enjoy this activity.
