[ARCHIVED] Ginna Nuclear Power Plant Hosts Community Information Night on July 31st!

Learn how Exelon Generation produces safe, clean, reliable energy and test drive a zero-emissions vehicle.
The free event will be held on Tuesday, July 31 from 4-8 p.m, outside Ginna’s Training Center at 1503 Lake Road, Ontario.

Ginna Nuclear Power Plant Hosts Community Information Night on July 31st! Learn how Exelon Generation produces safe, clean, reliable energy and test drive a zero-emissions vehicle.
The free event will be held  on Tuesday, July 31 from 4-8 p.m, outside Ginna’s Training Center at 1503 Lake Road, Ontario.


Plant employees will be on hand to talk with visitors on Ginna’s operations, site maintenance, engineering practices, environmental stewardship, radiological safety, emergency preparedness and much more. Visitors can also tour the plant’s control room simulator, which is used for training reactor operators. 


This year’s event will also feature an electric car ride and drive event. Test drives will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with a valid driver’s license. Refreshments will be provided.
