United Church of Christ
Caring Community Concerts

The Caring Community Concerts are a series of summer concerts that highlight a Webster community organization at each event and includes a free will offering that benefits the organization. Some organizations that have benefited from the concerts include the Webster Lions Camp Smile program, Friends of Webster Trails, Webster Museum, Heritage Christian Home, Webster Comfort Care Home and many others.

In addition to providing great entertainment and supporting great organizations committed to caring for our community, the concerts provide a geat opportunity for neighbors to meet other neighbors. So you can focus on the entertainment and meeting your neighbors, they keep a barbecue cooking and have other concessions so you won’t have to focus on what’s for dinner.

“There is a strong sense of community at each of the concerts,” says Roger Reed, Minister of Pastoral Care of Webster United Church of Christ.  “The community organizations featured at each concert help many people in our community, and the people at the concerts help these community organizations through the free will offering.”  Over $700 was collected to support Webster Lions Camp Smile through the July 8th offering.

Additional concerts feature the Dady Brothers on August 5th (Benefit for Webster Health and Education Network), and Ruby Shooz on August 12th (Benefit for Webster Community Cupboard). The concerts begin at 6:30 pm on the front lawn of the church, 570 Klem Rd. Refreshments are available beginning at 6:00. In case of rain, the concerts will be held in the air-conditioned sanctuary.

The United Church of Christ is located at 570 Klem Road.
