Friends of Webster Trails
The Friends of Webster Trails is non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving primarily as volunteer arm of the Webster Parks and Recreation Department. When Friends of Webster Trails was established in 1997 its only activity was the maintenance of the Hojack Trail.  In 2002, we built a nature trail in Vosburg Hollow.  With the acquisition of open space properties, Friends of Webster Trails volunteers have now built trails in Finn Park, Whiting Road Nature Preserve,Gosnell Big Woods Preserve, Four Mile Creek Preserve and the Bird Sanuctuary Trail.  FWT has also created several connecting trails (for example, the trail connecting the eastern end of the Bird Sanctuary Trail to the Chiyoda Trails at the Webster Recreation Center) and continue to work on maintaining and creating trails in Webster's open space properties.
