Services for Seniors
The Webster Senior Center is dedicated to support and enhance the lives of seniors 50 years and older by providing programs and services that promote active, independent and healthy lifestyles. We offer a diverse selection of activities such as; games, day trips, fitness classes, cards and more. Our monthly newsletter – including menu and activity calendar can be found on our website.
Lunch Club 60 - Daily Lunch:
A delicious, hot meal is served at The Webster Recreation Center, 1350 Chiyoda Drive, Monday through Friday, 11:45am-12:15pm. This nutritious lunch is served cafeteria-style for our Lunch Club 60 members. There is a $3.50 suggested contribution for those 60 and older, and a $7.50 charge for those under 60. Registration is not required, except for special celebrations. Each day’s menu is included in the Senior Center’s monthly newsletter, which is available at the Recreation Center and on-line.

Webster Association of Senior Program Supporters (W.A.S.P.S):
Webster Association of Senior Program Supporters (W.A.S.P.S) provides transportation for residents 60 and over and/or a disabled retiree who live within the Webster School District.
We drive seniors to various appointments including: medical, dental, dialysis, chemotherapy, physical therapy, pharmacy visits and health related shopping. WASPS also provides wheelchair service if needed.
Service is provided Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 2:30pm. A financial donation for transportation is requested.

Medical Equipment Loan Cupboard:
Loans medical equipment such as walkers, crutches, canes, manual wheelchairs, portable ramps.

Meals on Wheels:
Each day we deliver a hot, nutritious meal and provide a daily check-in to the home bound, elderly, or ill through a dedicated volunteer force. Anyone can request Meals On Wheels service: friends, family, physicians, or recipients themselves. No person is denied service on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or marital status. All meals are prepared under the supervision of professionally trained personnel and monitored by a Registered Dietitian. All meals are lower in sodium and fat than commercially prepared meals.
Delivery options include: Daily meals – which can be modified to meet a variety of medical needs / Weekly meals – frozen meals and groceries / Weekend meals – frozen meals delivered during the week / Kosher meals – prepared by the Jewish Home of Rochester
