[ARCHIVED] Webster Police Dept. is seeking help from residents, June 19, 2019

The Webster Police Department was dispatched to a call of an older male asking a young girl to get into his vehicle with him at between 5:30 pm-5:40 pm this evening in the area of Gasberry Lane.  The white male is described to be in his 50s, skinny build, wearing glasses, black tee shirt and salt & pepper hair and a very short salt & pepper beard.  It is believed the male was driving a newer model, blue, 2 door Chevrolet Sonic (or similar type vehicle). The vehicle continued east on Gasberry Lane and believed to have gone south on S Huckleberry Lane.  The male had an open can of beer in the center console of the vehicle as well as a bottle of Jack Daniels on the passenger seat.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Webster Police Department is attempting to identify who this male is.  If you live in that area (Gasberry Lane, S Huckleberry Lane, High Tower Way, Regina Drive, Newberry Lane) and have any further information or surveillance video pertaining to this incident, please call 911 and ask to speak to a Webster Police Officer.
